I am a writer and speaker for Proverbs 31 Ministries. I have always written-- ever since I was a little girl and could first put words on paper. I love to write, and feel blessed to be able to do something I love. When I was a little girl, I used to say that when I grew up I would be a writer and have six kids... And that is exactly what happened! I am truly living my dreams. About 2 years ago, God gave me the idea of putting together a book for other women who want to write but don't know how to get started. I worked with 31 contributors who contributed their experiences with publishing and wrote a Bible study to go along with each contribution. I pulled the book together in about ten weeks time and it was released in July 2005 at CBA in Denver. We also featured it at the Proverbs 31 She Speaks conference that year. It has been very exciting, and I am humbled to see the ways God is using this resource to reach writers who want to share their story and honor God at the same time.
