I started Writer...Interrupted out of my own need to connect with other writing moms interrupted by raising kids and taking care of homes. Little did I know that my desire for community would turn into an opportunity to give other interrupted writers a chance to use their gifts.
With over 50 members on our webring and over a dozen contributors I think it's time we celebrate! So for our 6th month anniversary, I thought it'd be a great idea to give Writer...Interrupted a make-over.
But honestly, I have not solid idea of what the new site should look like! That's where you come in. In the comment section, leave your ideas on color scheme, layout design, photo or logos, one column or two columns, and anything you'd like to see in the sidebar that currently isn't there.
I'm hoping to make this work by the new year and with your help, I just might do it!

I don't really have any ideas on this, but I just want to thank you for continuing to make this project a priority, despite the...well, interruptions we all face. Thanks for making a difference, inspiring and investing in each one of us. Merry Christmas!

Thanks so much for your encouragement and your Mid-Week Motivations! They've been awesome, but somehow I knew they would be.
Oh how fun - I love make-overs lol. I'm actually working on one for my blog at the moment.
Hmmm, ideas...well, Michelle already gave you heather's blog as an example. She's got a cutie one for sure. There are lots of great designs out there. I guess coming up with the right mix of "writer" and "interupted" is going to be interesting lol. Maybe a "signs of life" sort of theme (like that steven curtis chapman song).
My mind is muddled with my own transformation at the moment - thanks Gina for allowing me to be a part of this group. I have been very interupted lately but hope the new year affords me the time to take more advantage of all you offer here. ((Hugs)) and Merry Christmas!
I've often wished you had a recent commenter section, so we could keep up with comments on older posts easier. I really like the interaction on comments...
I appreciate how easy it is here to leave comments. Only way it would be easier is if you moved to WordPress! ;O) So many blogger blogs have glitches that won't allow comments by other blog host users...there's nothing worse, imo, than visiting a blog, wanting to comment, and not being able to because of the high level of spam filtering. That's why I love WordPress and their built in spam protection. No funny verification codes to type in and they remember my name and address...just a little plug! :O)
